To Office of Human Relations correspond the study, guidance, recruitment and control labor affairs and human development of workers. The purpose of the section is seeking the welfare of employees and their families, improving the quality of life and a fair remuneration for their work, within a secure and stable working environment.

This unit also ensures compliance with labor standards in Colombia, as Suarez respect for and enforcement of ethics laws is a priority, like not hire minors, do not work with the payment to the contract, we link our partners through direct recruitment and indefinite term contracts, we encourage internal promotion also creating an atmosphere of fellowship, where respect and cooperation to our fellow teammates is business philosophy.

HUMAN MANAGEMENT

Suarez has a department of Environmental management according to Decree 1299 of 2008 national legislation.

Environmental management department duties:

  • watch over the fulfilment of the current environmental legislation.
  • Incorporate the environmental dimension in the decision making inside the company.
  • Give technical and environmental consultancy
  • Establish and implement actions to prevent, mitigate, correct and compensate environmental impact.
  • Stimulate and improve the environmental management inside the company.

A variety of measures have been adopted to save water and energy as:
Independent lighting systems.
Replace incandescent bulbs and use compact fluorescent lamp (CFL).
Replace conventional taps and use water econo taps.
