Since i started my career as road racing cyclist i’ve had the fortune of meeting and making very good friends, all of them connected to the cycling guild.

In the first team i was part of, i met a great track cyclist, an specialist in 4000 meters individual persecution, a cyclism enthusiast, he was a step ahead, constantly searching and developing new products to improve all the aspects that have a crucial to achieve the best performance on cycling.

Thanks to that research he noticed that in Colombia was a long way to be done in cycling apparel. That day he took the decision to start a new project: make the professional and amateur cyclist fell comfortable and well dressed, either when is time for a race or fun, leaving behind the torture of wearing the uncomfortable garments available in the local market in thosedays.

He, Carlos Suarez, with his company of cycling apparel, and I riding a bike we are head to head,each one carrying out our dreams, today when I’ve finished my active carrer as professional cyclist, and I see SUAREZ, after 14 years, transformed in a leader brand in the market segment not only in Colombia but in America.

And I say it proudly, almost feeling as part of that project, because I’ve worn his garments during all my career and I now I see how he has achieved his goals: give the cyclist proper cycling apparel, complete in design, comfort and quality, all of this is possible because he makes things with passion.
